Dr. Charlie Johnston

Dr Charlie Johnston is a Doctor of Chiropractic at Haptic Chiropractors, bringing enthusiasm, expertise, and a passion for helping people move freely and live without limits. A graduate of the Anglo-European Chiropractic College, Dr Johnston was awarded Clinician of the Year (2024) in recognition of his exceptional patient care and clinical excellence.

Charlie’s journey into chiropractic care began after witnessing the transformative effect adjustments had on his own family, particularly his father, whose recovery inspired him to pursue a career dedicated to helping others rediscover movement and wellbeing.

With a strong sporting background, Charlie specialises in working with the running and cycling community, combining biomechanical analysis and performance optimisation with tailored chiropractic care. He has led social running groups along the South Coast and has extensive experience analysing runners’ form and cyclists’ setups to help improve technique, prevent injury, and enhance performance — from first-time 5K runners to elite endurance athletes.

Friendly and down-to-earth, Charlie believes in creating a fun and engaging environment where patients feel motivated and supported. Outside the clinic, he enjoys running, cycling, and bouldering, as well as relaxing with family, exploring the outdoors with his dog, and collecting vinyl records.
