Dr Bhavini Kaviya

Dr Bhavini Kaviya is an experienced GP with a focus on women’s health and preventive medicine. She is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree from the University of East Anglia. She also has an MSc in Neuroscience from the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College, London and a BSc in Biomedical Science from St George’s, University of London.

Currently, Dr Kaviya works as a Health Assessment GP at Nuffield Health, where she delivers comprehensive and holistic health assessments, capturing findings and agreeing to next steps/follow-up. She is also a Locum GP at Watford Health Centre and Pinn Medical Centre, where she manages a complex caseload in both in-person and remote consultations, responding to medical problems presented by patients, providing appropriate preventative health care and advice, and supporting the practice staff.

Dr Kaviya has also worked as a GP Registrar at Grove Medical Centre, Egham, and has also participated in Quality Improvement Projects and various audits, including 'doctor's bag audit', ensuring that the contents of the home visit bag were compliant with processes implemented to ensure this was continually monitored.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr Kaviya serves as a Weight Management Coach, a Trustee at a Bereavement Care Charity, and a Medicine (MB BS) Interviewer Panellist at St George's University of London. She is also a member of the GMC PLAB Examiner and has completed courses in Dermatoscopy for GPs, Sexually Transmitted Infections Foundation, and Little Lifesavers. Dr Kaviya also has a publication in the European Journal of Human Genetics.
