Dr. Bharti Rajput

Dr Bharti Rajput MBE (also known as Dr B) is an award-winning podiatrist, businesswoman, and advocate for holistic healthcare, whose career has been shaped by her deep commitment to Seva—a Sanskrit term meaning selfless service. Born in Kenya and later relocating to the UK,  Dr B's journey into healthcare has been guided by a lifelong passion for helping others and raising the standard of care in her profession.

After earning her degree in Podiatric Medicine, Dr B pursued advanced studies in human movement, culminating in a PhD from the University of Dundee. In 2011, she founded her flagship clinic, now known as The Foot Expert Clinic, near the coastal suburb of Broughty Ferry. Her mission has always been clear: to elevate podiatry to the same essential status as visiting a doctor or dentist, and to emphasise the vital role foot health plays in overall well-being.

At the heart of The Foot Expert Clinic is a team of highly skilled podiatrists and foot health professionals who share Dr Rajput’s vision and values. Guided by her leadership, the team delivers expert care with compassion, innovation, and attention to detail. Each team member is carefully selected for their clinical excellence and dedication to prioritising patients' needs. Together, they ensure that every person who walks through the clinic doors receives personalised, holistic treatment that addresses not just symptoms, but the root causes of foot and lower limb issues.

Dr B’s dedication to innovation, excellence, and public education has earned her national recognition. She has been featured in The Mirror, Daily Mail, Good Housekeeping, Saga Magazine, and on BBC Radio Scotland, sharing her expert insights on foot health. In 2017, she was awarded an MBE by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace for her outstanding services to podiatry.

In addition to her clinical leadership, Dr B is a passionate philanthropist through her Step into Happiness Foundation and advocate for women in business. She proudly serves as an ambassador for Women’s Enterprise Scotland, championing female entrepreneurs and professionals. Through speaking engagements, media contributions, and community outreach, she continues to inspire others to live with purpose, compassion, and a commitment to service.
