Barney Hogg

Barney Hogg is an experienced Physiotherapist with a master’s-level clinical background and a broad range of experience across private practice and work with the Ministry of Defence. As an in-house Physiotherapist at The Massage Company, he supports clients with a wide variety of musculoskeletal concerns, from post-operative rehabilitation and sports injuries to persistent stiffness, everyday aches, and movement-related discomfort.

His approach focuses on understanding the factors contributing to pain or restricted movement before developing a practical and individualised programme for recovery. Depending on each client’s needs, this may include hands-on treatment, targeted exercises, movement advice, or guidance on how to manage symptoms effectively. By combining active rehabilitation with the benefits of massage therapy, Barney aims to help clients achieve both immediate symptom relief and longer-term improvements in movement and physical resilience.

His clinical philosophy is also informed by his background in strength and conditioning and previous experience as a personal trainer. This has given him a strong understanding of movement, exercise, strength development, and physical performance, which he incorporates into his rehabilitation programmes.
