Dr Arunodaya Mohan

Dr. Arunodaya Mohan is a Consultant Haematologist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of blood disorders. She currently practices at NMC Royal Hospital DIP and NMC Specialty Hospital, Al Nahda, where she provides specialist care for both malignant and non-malignant haematological conditions.

Dr. Mohan began her medical training with an MBBS from Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University in 2003. She later completed postgraduate qualifications in the United Kingdom, earning MRCPCH from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and FRCPath from the Royal College of Pathologists. She has previously worked within the UK’s National Health Service, including at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust, gaining broad clinical and laboratory experience.

Her clinical expertise includes the management of myeloid disorders, lymphoma, myeloma, immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), and sickle cell disease. She also has a particular interest in advanced diagnostic techniques, including flow cytometry, and has worked as a laboratory consultant in tertiary care settings.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Mohan is actively involved in education and training. She is committed to mentoring haematology trainees and contributes regularly to teaching initiatives within her field.
