Dr Anurag Garg

Dr Anurag Garg is a highly skilled Consultant Ophthalmologist who specialises in acute and general ophthalmology, high-precision cataract surgery, and comprehensive glaucoma management. Serving as a Clinical Lead for urgent eye care services, he delivers specialist assessment and advanced treatments for a wide variety of high-acuity ophthalmic conditions. Dedicated to providing patient-focused care, Dr Garg combines extensive clinical experience with modern surgical techniques to safeguard and enhance visual outcomes.

In his clinical practice, Dr Garg offers expertise in the medical, laser, and surgical treatment of glaucoma, with a focus on procedures such as selective laser trabeculoplasty. Dr Garg completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with distinctions at Imperial College London in 2009, having previously earned a First Class Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Medical Sciences with Neuroscience in 2007. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (FRCOphth) in 2015 and achieved his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Ophthalmology in 2020. He further advanced his research and surgical qualifications by earning a Doctor of Medicine (MD Res) from University College London in 2021 and a Postgraduate Diploma in Cataract and Refractive Surgery with commendation from Ulster University in 2022.
