Nurse Anna Blackshaw

Nurse Anna Blackshaw is a Registered General Nurse who trained at the University of Nottingham, qualifying in 2005. She has spent the majority of her career working in community healthcare, initially as part of a District Nursing team and more recently within a GP surgery setting, gaining broad experience in primary and community-based patient care.

She has developed particular expertise in ear health, including ear assessment and wax removal using both irrigation and microsuction techniques. In addition to her nursing work, she is trained in a range of aesthetic and minor procedures, including ThermaVein treatments for the removal of skin tags and facial thread veins, as well as microsclerotherapy.

Anna also provides travel health services, offering personalised advice and a range of vaccinations, including Yellow Fever immunisation. Her practice reflects a patient-focused approach, combining clinical experience with practical, accessible care in the community setting.
