Dr Andrew Rosser

Dr Andrew Rosser is a Microbiologist and Virologist. They qualified in 2003 from the Royal Free and University College Medical School. Dr Rosser's specialty training took place predominantly in Leicester, with a two-year period in Wessex. This provided them with a broad and varied experience in all aspects of infectious diseases, working in an ethnically diverse inner-city environment.

Dr Rosser holds a Masters in Tropical Medicine and International Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, where their focus was Schistosomiasis. In addition, they undertook a Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Leicester, studying tuberculosis recurrence and methods of enhancing tuberculosis culture.

Dr Rosser's clinical interests encompass a wide range of infectious diseases, tropical medicine, tuberculosis, human immunodeficiency virus infection, and sexual health. Their expertise also extends to surgical related infections, recurrent infections, and clinical microbiology.
