Dr. Amit Patel

Dr Amit Patel graduated from the University of Leeds with a Merit of Distinction in the Examination of Clinical Dental Practice. He also completed the postgraduate Membership of Joint Dental Faculties examinations and the prestigious Diploma in Implant Dentistry with the Royal College of Surgeons England. He undertook the 1-year Foundation in Implant Dentistry supported by the International Team for Implantology and also completed a 4-year Masters programme in fixed and removable prosthodontics to further his passion for restorative dentistry.

His specialist interests are in dental implants, aesthetic and restorative dentistry, and minimally invasive techniques (where their use is practicable).

Dr Patel previously held a surgical role as a part-time Specialty Doctor in Oral Surgery at Broomfield Hospital, and in 2014 was shortlisted as a finalist in the Best Young Dentist category at the Dentistry Awards. In 2015 he won Highly Commended Best Young Dentist South Region, and in 2017 won Young Dentist of the Year at the Dental Awards. He also writes articles for well-known dentistry publications.
