Dr Amir Abdelmalek

Dr Amir Abdelmalek is a highly regarded Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in the comprehensive management of upper limb conditions. With a dedicated focus on shoulder, elbow, and hand disorders, he provides expert care for patients experiencing a wide range of musculoskeletal issues. His clinical practice encompasses both elective procedures and the management of acute traumatic injuries, ensuring that patients receive tailored, evidence-based treatment pathways to restore function and alleviate pain.

Dr Abdelmalek obtained his primary medical qualification, a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB BCh), from Zagazig University in 2003. Committed to achieving the highest standards of surgical excellence, he went on to complete extensive postgraduate training in trauma and orthopaedic surgery. He is admitted to the Specialist Register for Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery with the General Medical Council. To further refine his expertise in complex upper limb reconstruction, he undertook the prestigious Brisbane Hand and Upper Limb Fellowship in Australia, gaining advanced skills in cutting-edge surgical techniques.
