Dr. Ameen Furat

Dr. Ameen Furat is a General and Cosmetic Dentist, known for his dual training as a Pharmacist and Dentist. He graduated with Distinctions from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, where he was awarded numerous accolades, including “Best Overall Student Performance in Part 1,” “Best Student in Clinical Human, Health and Disease,” and the prestigious “QMUL Draper’s Prize for Outstanding Academic Performance in Part 2 of BDS.”

During his time at Queen Mary University London, Dr. Ameen served as President of Barts and The London Dental Society and co-founded the award-winning initiative "Bitesize Dentistry." He also acted as the student representative for the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, cementing his leadership and commitment to advancing the field of dentistry. He has developed strong collaborations with renowned dental companies such as Colgate, Oral-B, GSK, and Dentsply Sirona, often being requested to review and critique new products.

Dr. Ameen’s practice focuses on smile makeovers through the use of orthodontics (Invisalign), composite bonding, and porcelain veneers. He is passionate about functional aesthetic dentistry and strives to provide treatments that mimic nature, ensuring both beauty and function. He honed his skills under the mentorship of Dr. Christopher Orr, one of the UK's most prominent cosmetic and aesthetic restorative dentists.

Recognised for his infectious smile and welcoming nature, Dr. Ameen is dedicated to making the patient experience enjoyable. His passion for dentistry was acknowledged during his vocational training at Kings College London, where he received the “Most Enthusiastic Dentist” prize. Dr. Ameen continues to inspire confidence and trust in his patients, delivering exceptional results in both general and cosmetic dental care.
