Ms Alison Geddes

Ms Alison Geddes is a Clinical Nurse Specialist with a career in mental health services spanning three decades. Her extensive background includes working with both children and adults across various settings, including Acute Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).

She has international experience having practiced in Australia across acute psychiatry and easting disorder services, this experience has directly contributed to her foundational expertise in managing complex mental health presentations in patients. 

A specialist in neuro-developmental conditions, Alison is highly qualified in several therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Family Therapy, and Psychotherapy. She has taken additional training in neuro-develomental conditions and their assessments. Using tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R, and DIVA-5, she can provide comprehensive assessments supporting autistic patients and their families. 

She has developed a particular interest in the nuances of neurodiversity in underserved populations, notably late-diagnosed adults and women alongside recognising disordered eating behaviour. Her rare combination of expertise across age groups gives her a unique approach to practice.
