Dr Alfonso Frontera

Dr Alfonso Frontera is an experienced Italian Dental Surgeon with more than three decades in clinical dentistry across Italy and the United Kingdom. He graduated cum laude from Sapienza University of Rome in 1992 and began his career in Rome before moving to London in 2002, where he went on to work in established private dental practices.

His professional development has been strongly shaped by restorative dentistry, endodontics and prosthodontics. During his early career, he regularly attended the Departments of Endodontics and Prosthodontics at Columbia University in New York as a visiting student. He later developed further expertise in cosmetic orthodontics, including several years working within a leading Invisalign practice in the UK. Dr Frontera currently practises at CAP City Dental, in the heart of the City of London. His practice combines comprehensive general dentistry with advanced restorative and aesthetic care.

A defining feature of Dr Frontera’s approach is conservative dentistry. He prioritises preserving natural dental tissue whenever possible and regards drilling as a last resort. His treatment planning combines careful diagnosis, modern digital technology and clear communication, with the aim of providing predictable treatment while maintaining as much healthy tooth structure as possible
