Professor Frampton was very professional. He reassured me about the surgery (gallblader) removal and called me before and after the sugery. I definitely recommend him, you will not regret !!

I recently had a laparoscopic cholecystectomy performed by Mr Frampton, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him as a surgeon. At our initial consultation he clearly explained the operation and recovery process, as well as explaining all the risks and benefits of removing the gallbladder. The operation went smoothly and he checked on my progress twice before I left the hospital. He checked in again by phone a day later, and then we met after a few weeks for a post-op consultation and to confirm that the histology was clear. This communication was very reassuring and as a result, I felt very confident in his level of care.

I had a very positive experience with Mr Frampton from initial investigations right through to post-operative care and follow-up. Mr Frampton was thorough in his investigations and carried out several tests before discussing the option of surgery with me. He was very considerate in his decision-making and outlined the risks and possible outcomes for both options of having and not having surgery. After discussing it, I was keen to undergo surgery. The surgery was successful, and he was very pleased with how it went - as was I! He followed up about a month later, confirmed the pathology results and checked everything was as it should be. Throughout the process, he spoke with me and my husband with care, kindness and consideration to my specific situation and put me at ease about having the surgery. I really cannot recommend him as a surgeon enough.

I was referred to Professor Frampton when I had jaundice and I am exceedingly thankful I was. He was confident, experienced, caring and very patient. After the initial successful treatment to remove a stone blocking my bile duct Professor Frampton recommended the removal of my gallbladder something I was reluctant to do. He listened to my concerns but identified possible complications if it was not removed. I was still hesitant but events took over and it was clear I had to proceed with the surgery. Further scans and x-rays were carried out and I was admitted to the Nuffield Hospital Guildford for a routine laparoscopic cholecystectomy. I was initially nervous but prior to surgery Professor Frampton spoke to me and was very reassuring. I knew I was in extremely competent hands which was a good thing as he later told me that the surgery had been very challenging due to the condition of my gallbladder, possibly due to my delaying surgery. Surgery took considerably longer than normal, involved an on-table cholangiogram, but it was successfully completed by a laparoscopic cholecystectomy. I was discharged the following day and next day, Sunday morning, Professor Frampton, phoned me to check how I was. Four days later I was able to dispense with painkillers and two weeks later I was given the all clear after a follow-up appointment with him. By then for me it was like the whole thing had never happened. I cannot thank or highly recommend enough Professor Frampton and his theatre team.

Exceptional level of care. Time taken to explain every step in detail and reassurance throughout. Post-op follow ups in person and by phone with opportunities to ask any questions. Back to full working order in exact time frame given after inguinal hernia repair surgery.

I have met Dr Adam Frampton after a few severe attacks of abdominal pain caused by gallstones. Dr Frampton explained clearly the problems that gallstones could cause and suggested an operation to remove the gallstones and gallbladder. I have had a laparoscopic cholecystectomy at Nuffield Guildford Hospital and all went very well, without any complications. Three weeks after the surgery I can do all the regular activities and office work. I am very grateful to Dr Frampton, who have been very kind and professional and helped me going back to my normal life.
