Dr Adam Donne

Dr Adam Donne is an experienced Consultant Paediatric Otolaryngologist and Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon specialising in the comprehensive medical and surgical management of head, neck, ear, nose, and throat conditions in infants, children, and young people. With extensive expertise in paediatric care, he provides reassuring, patient-centred care tailored to the physiological and developmental needs of children. Dr Donne is committed to delivering excellent clinical outcomes through evidence-based treatments and modern surgical techniques.

Dr Donne completed his higher surgical training in otolaryngology in Manchester, followed by advanced sub-speciality fellowship training in paediatric ear, nose, and throat surgery in London. He earned his Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Biology, focusing his research on the human papillomavirus and respiratory papillomatosis. He holds a Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery (FRCS ORL-HNS). Dr Donne maintains active professional affiliations with major surgical organisations, including the Royal College of Surgeons and the British Laryngological Association.

His primary clinical expertise encompasses complex paediatric airway conditions, voice disorders, and recurrent respiratory papillomatosis. As a leading Specialist in paediatric airway surgery, Dr Donne routinely performs airway endoscopy, laryngeal reconstruction, tracheostomy management, and specialised procedures for congenital airway anomalies. In addition, he provides comprehensive care for common paediatric ENT concerns, including grommet insertion for middle ear fluid, adenotonsillectomy for sleep-disordered breathing, and surgery for thyroglossal duct cysts or nasal obstruction.

Beyond his direct clinical practice, Dr Donne serves as an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor and acts as the clinical lead for national registry research into respiratory papillomatosis. He is actively involved in postgraduate medical education and surgical mentorship, serving as a Training Programme Director to support the training of future ENT Surgeons.
