This is a friendly practice with great staff who really care about you as a patient. Each appointment is thorough, and I always leave feeling satisfied, and my teeth feel so clean and amazing. The use of state-of-the-art technology and you get a personalised plan tailored to your individual requirements. I would highly recommend using this practice.

I booked in for a £89 ‘classic clean’ which was available for booking via the website thinking 30 minutes would be long enough for a hygienist appointment. However, I was advised that these appointments were usually for more regular attenders but they kindly agreed to do it for me. However, a good 15 minutes was spent at the start of the appointment telling me how bad my bleeding and plaque score was and made me feel a bit uncomfortable as it was reiterated again that I should pay another £30 for a longer clean. I was then told that the clean wasn’t completely finished because they had ran out of time. The process was very comfortable and the staff polite but I did come away feeling as if there was some hard marketing going on and if more of the time had been spent not going back over various scores etc but actually cleaning my teeth then I wouldn’t have come away from a £89 appointment with a substandard clean. I know it’s a business but it didn’t feel comfortable on the receiving end unfortunately.

That’s never the experience we want anyone to have. During every hygiene visit, we check for signs of inflammation such as plaque levels and any bleeding when we assess the gums. When these scores are higher than expected, it indicates that the gums need a little more support. In those situations, our clinicians are professionally required to recommend a longer appointment so we can carry out the full treatment safely and thoroughly. It isn’t about extending the appointment unnecessarily — it’s simply about making sure there is enough time to do the job properly without rushing or leaving anything incomplete. I appreciate that discussing this took up some of your appointment time and that we weren’t able to finish everything within the 30 minute slot. Your feedback is genuinely helpful, and we’ll use it to make sure we balance clear clinical explanations with ensuring patients feel fully cared for throughout their visit. I had a hygienist appointment for the first time and specialist explained very thoroughly the procedure, checked my teeth and gave very comprehensive advice on how to improve teeth cleaning. Overall very pleased with my experience and staff seem to be very knowledgeable and professional.
