“I have been to The Princess Grace several times for outpatient appointments and each time I have been very satisfied with the service I have received. My appointments are hassle free and I am seen on time. I always feel that it is run well and the staff are helpful and clear about what you need to fill out or not fill out which is sometimes not very clear on these forms! I would recommend.“

It was a difficult time for the hospital with the lockdown in place due to the virus .They did everything they could to make sure I was safe and I am extremely grateful to them .

I was admitted several times as an in-patient and had surgery too. The nurses were professional and always tried to assist as well as they could. The rooms were without fault cleaned tidy and also welcoming. The food was great, although at the time (2018) sometimes the portions were limited and patients were not allowed to order an extra portion. I think this might have been resolved. Otherwise, I found the staff without fault and my stay was made as comfortable as possible. I felt safe and trusted my health was in good hands. I would recommend the hospital.

Princess Grace Hospital is my second home in London.i have had three surgeries and as well my son was admitted for five surgery with Prof Sina Dourode. the staff are very helpful and amazing service.

The entire experience in the hospital was excellent. The surgeon Dr. Marc Laniado and the anesthetist Dr. Dinesh Selvan were amazing. The nursing staff that stood out were Debbie (ICU) & Laurita (4th Floor). Thank you all for such a wonderful experience.

The reception was fast and I was taken to my room within minutes. The escort explained local protocols to me and the nursing staff were very attentive and quick to act when I needed assistance. The room was spacious, convenient, pleasantly warm and very clean. The food was good and nutritious and a good choice was offered. I am very thankful to the entire staff for their kindness and professionalism afforded me.

Re: Analia @ MRI department (over the phone one day before my tests) Analia demonstrated exceptional professional standards and an amazing support, with regards to the plethora of issues I always experience during my MRI with contrast and also my blood tests (my veins are superficial, fragile, thin, and almost non existent and they break very easily causing a lot of pain and painful bruising that lasts for 20 days). Analia really listened to my concerns and was highly respectful and empathetic, and reassured me that she would do anything to support me so as I would not have the same (awful) experience that I have had at different prestigious hospitals, where my problems had been mocked, disregarded, and where I had been accused for wasting their time with my non-existent issues (I had ended up with 15 attempts to draw blood from my right arm and 10 attempts to draw blood from the left arm). Analia promptly contacted all relevant departments to resource the most skilful person to collect my blood. She then followed up and managed my expectations, offering me various solutions and choices. I felt highly supported, protected, and understood. My stress ceased at that moment and I could have a good night sleep. I went to the hospital the following day (May 2019) with the reassurance that everything would be fine and I would not have to suffer agony again. In addition, I would like to thank two more lovely ladies Portia & Luana @ MRI department who really looked after me whilst having my abdominal MRI and who went the extra mile to liaise with the Head Radiologist who was offsite at that point, in order to discuss the suitability and effectiveness of the MRI without the IV contrast cannulation that would leave me with pain and bruised arms for 20 days. They had previously liaised with Analia and had been briefed already about my situation, so my experience felt seamless and without any stress for me. I had the MRI without the contrast -since the Head of Radiology judged it would still be effective in my case- and I left the hospital pain free and relieved. Re: Sithabile, Claire, Zurayda @ Outpatient Department - Nurses (blood collection) Re: Lyn @ Outpatient Department - Phlebologist (blood collection) Sitha, Claire, Zurayada, and Lynn were all simply amazing during the blood collection (in a number of different cases May-July 2019). They kept my mind pleasantly busy, which was exactly what I needed during those moments. They were successful in spotting a relatively good vein immediately, in order to avoid further inconvenience. They were all very patient and understanding, always smiling and reassuring me that everything would be ok. They all left me with no bruises, no pain and no marks! Really unbelievable!! Thank you all! Re: Christine @ Outpatient Department - Reception Christine was the first person to greet me promptly and very professionally when I entered the Outpatients Department. There was a lot of disruption due to extensive building work in there, but Christine's smile was like a ray of sunshine! She guided me and advised me on where I would have to go and who I would have to speak to, and offered to help me if there were any specific requirements from me. I could see the patients coming in and out and because of her I doubt they realised the inconvenience caused by the building work. Finally, all the other ladies and gentlemen both at the Reception of the Outpatients Dpt and the Reception of the MRI in the main building were ALL (without exception) very helpful and they really listened to the patients with a big smile on their face (though I could see they were immensely busy) and a very supportive attitude. A massive well done to the Staff of the Princess Grace Hospital!! You have raised the bar really high for all the other private and prestigious hospitals, to follow your fantastic example.

I went to Princess Grace Hospital for an operation to remove my Thyroid. I was told to get there for 6.30am. On the phone I was told I was one of 3 patients being operated that day by the surgeon. On arrival, the nurse told me I would not be seen until 4pm. When the surgeon popped in at around 8 I was told the operation would be around lunchtime. I didn’t get seen until 4 and it was a long and painful wait. No food or drink and the communication wasn’t good. It wasn’t a painfree experience. When you have being diagnosed with Cancer, the last thing you need on the day of surgery is a 10 hour wait when you have been up since 4am. I could have been asked to come in at a later time. Staff were ok but not super friendly. After my operation, I had to ring the bell over 3 times each time the nurse promised water but forgot. When blood tests were taken, blood went all over me and my bed. I had to ask for the blood stained sheets to changed. Whilst in my room, I kept getting disturbed with people coming in to put up curtains in the window. I actually felt like I was going through NHS and not private.
