The Princess Grace Hospital
Welcome to The Princess Grace Hospital
Opened in 1977 by Princess Grace of Monaco herself, The Princess Grace Hospital is recognised as one of the UK’s best-equipped, multidisciplinary, acute private hospitals, offering access to the latest innovative technology and pioneering medical treatment. Constantly at the forefront of medical innovation, The Princess Grace was the first ever private hospital to offer digital mammography and have an Urgent Care Centre. This gives people instant access to treatment for every urgent illness, injury and disease thanks to cutting edge diagnostic and screening equipment, on-site complex blood tests, a pharmacy and operating theatres. You don't need to book. You can just turn up. This was also the first hospital in the UK to develop a surgical robotic centre of excellence, bringing together world-leading specialists to challenge current medicine, develop new techniques and set new, higher standards for healthcare. The hospital offers specialist centres dedicated to digestive issues, breast, cancer, liver, bowel and orthopaedics problems and has significant expertise in robotic surgery, breast care, digestive health, urology, diagnostic imaging and gynaecology. There's a popular Institute of Sports, Exercise and Medicine to help you recover faster, staffed by highly-trained sports medicine experts, and overall the hospital's patients have access to over 700 experienced consultants.
Very good, the nurses are lovely.
a great experience
A good experience
Felt secure as Covid19 precautions were excellent
Friendly and professional staff and excellent facilities
The hospital is extremely well run, highly organised and efficient as well as always clean. During all surgeries and consultations, all the staff were very efficient, hard working, knowledgable and professional. They made my stressful medical condition manageable and gave me reassurance. My experience has always been a positive one and I would highly recommend the Princess Grace Hospital to all.
It’s a top hospital, Very lucky to have been treated there
Very professional and caring
I find the Princess Grace to be a very clean and efficient hospital, and have always felt happy with my visits both out patient and when I have stayed in for treatment.
Very good. I’ve just written about it. Kefah Mokbel and his team are amazing.
All the staff & the facilities were excellent . One small criticism was with the private rooms .... a little modernisation & makeover of styling & worn decor would not go amiss. However this is unimportant in the general run of things.
Very clean and staff are excellent
All the staff and doctors , nurses that I have come across at the princess grace hospital we’re understanding and lovely to talk to very social and there’s a very comforting atmosphere !

A wonderful hospital, everyone who works there are friendly and hugely caring.
Very friendly, caring staff, very professional, clean hospital. They were amazing with me, they took excellent care of me.
Princess Grace Hospital is a very friendly hospital with very caring and kind staff.
I visited the Princess Grace Hospital repeatedly during May and June 2020 and stayed there for three nights following surgery. I underwent a unilateral mastectomy, lymph clearance and reconstruction following breast cancer. My breast care nurse was Oonagh Mead and her kindness, warmth and professional knowledge made the journey a very easy and supported one. She went far beyond the call of duty and I felt completely at ease as a result of her kindness. My room was clean and comfortable. It was a strange time due to coronavirus and therefore no visitors being allowed but the nurses were kind and thorough and I felt well looked after. The surgery was fantastic and recovery has been smooth including visits to the Princess Grace for follow up. It is a friendly place to visit during this very stressful time.
Professor Mokbel has an amazing team of highly skilled and compassionate individuals at Princess Grace.
I have been received at the Princess Grace with kindness and courtesy. The rooms have been very clean and the staff very responsive. The hand sanitizer in my room was refilled promptly when I found it empty.
Everyone was friendly and nice. I have a wonderful experience.
I have been visiting PG since 2005. I cannot praise the staff enough. The professionalism and care of the nurses is outstanding. Also, the admin staff are always super efficient.
As portrayed through it’s reputation, it was of no surprise to be received and cared for by an exceptionally warm and hospitable team of staff delivering a world class service.
It was a difficult time for the hospital with the lockdown in place due to the virus .They did everything they could to make sure I was safe and I am extremely grateful to them .
I was admitted several times as an in-patient and had surgery too. The nurses were professional and always tried to assist as well as they could. The rooms were without fault cleaned tidy and also welcoming. The food was great, although at the time (2018) sometimes the portions were limited and patients were not allowed to order an extra portion. I think this might have been resolved. Otherwise, I found the staff without fault and my stay was made as comfortable as possible. I felt safe and trusted my health was in good hands. I would recommend the hospital.
Princess Grace Hospital is my second home in London.i have had three surgeries and as well my son was admitted for five surgery with Prof Sina Dourode. the staff are very helpful and amazing service.

Great hospital and great staff
The entire experience in the hospital was excellent. The surgeon Dr. Marc Laniado and the anesthetist Dr. Dinesh Selvan were amazing. The nursing staff that stood out were Debbie (ICU) & Laurita (4th Floor). Thank you all for such a wonderful experience.
Great service Very friendly and helpful
An excellent hospital and wonderful staff
Excellent in every way.
Amazing team, empathetic nurses and incredible facilities. Special shout out to the 4th floor team and Sheila my night nurse for making me feel so at ease!
The general level of care was excellent -the staff were all very kind and supportive. The service from the customer care helpline and the cashiers department was lamentable.
Very friendly and caring staff. Room was very clean and I was looked after very well.
The reception was fast and I was taken to my room within minutes. The escort explained local protocols to me and the nursing staff were very attentive and quick to act when I needed assistance. The room was spacious, convenient, pleasantly warm and very clean. The food was good and nutritious and a good choice was offered. I am very thankful to the entire staff for their kindness and professionalism afforded me.
