The Somerville Clinic

The Somerville Clinic is a Mental Health and Wellbeing Service specialising in women’s mental health. The service is run by Psychiatrists and is based in London. They are able to diagnose and treat a range of mental health conditions and offer bespoke assessments in various areas of psychiatry. This includes the assessment of ADHD and autism, as well as anxiety, mood disorders, psychosis, complex trauma, and hormone related conditions like PMDD (pre menstrual dysphoric disorder). The service offered by The Somerville Clinic is both compassionate and holistic, and they aim to help the women they treat gain greater understanding of their mental health and improve their quality of life.

The clinic offers a hybrid service of both face to face and remote assessments. Their clinical assessments are conducted in-depth, and they recognise that in women, mental health needs may overlap across different conditions and areas of life. They also recognise that physical and mental health are interlinked, and practice an evidence-based and trauma-informed approach. The clinic combines both Psychiatrists and Occupational Therapists, allowing them to work in multi-disciplinary collaboration with one another. Additionally, they are able to offer services for children and young people as well as adults.
