About The Orthodontic Clinic
The Orthodontic Clinic is a multi-award winning dental practice specialising in orthodontics located in Aberdeen, Scotland. The practice is a member of the British Orthodontic Society and is seen as a Good Practice by the British Dental Association.
Established since 2006, The Orthodontic Clinic utilises the latest technology and state-of-the-art techniques to provide their orthodontic services. Patients are assured that they will receive the most current treatments available to create their perfect smile.
The team consists of highly qualified orthodontic specialists with many years of experience in teeth straightening. The Orthodontic Clinic is lead by Clinical Director and Consultant Orthodontist, Dr Lisa Currie. Patient care is our number one priority and we take pride in giving the best results in a friendly and relaxed environment, treating both NHS and private patients, and both adults and children.
The practice offers a range of orthodontic treatments, including the following:
- Fixed appliances (including clear braces)
- Self ligating appliances
- Invisible braces (Invisalign aligner system)
- Removable appliances
- Functional appliances
- Retainers
Treatment for snoring problems is also offered at the practice. The Mandibular Advancement Appliance (MAA) is used to retain the tongue and jaw in the 'recovery' position during sleep to treat snoring problems.
Teeth whitening treatment is also provided in the clinic, with dramatic results to set off those beautiful straight teeth.

I started my treatment with Dr Lisa Currie in February 2024 and completed my Invisalign treatment in March 2025. I still cannot believe how perfect my smile looks now and all without pain, just as she promised. I absolutely loved using Invisalign throughout the treatment. At one point, I travelled to Brazil and forgot some of my aligners. Dr Lisa replied to my email the very same day and immediately provided a solution, which showed how supportive and caring she is. My experience at the clinic was amazing from start to finish. All the staff are incredibly friendly, professional, and competent. I have never been to a clinic where you arrive and are called in exactly at your appointment time. It is so efficient and respectful of people’s routines. The clinic is always very clean, smells fresh, and has a relaxing atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable. I also loved the surfing-themed decor, which creates a happy and welcoming environment. Overall, I cannot recommend this clinic enough. The treatment is not cheap, but it is absolutely worth every penny. Thank you, Dr Lisa, and everyone at the clinic! Diego P. B. I cannot stop smiling! After 2 and a half years, I finally got my braces off today and the results are better than I ever imagined. I was so nervous, but the removal process was quick and absolutely painless, just a few pops and the brackets were off. My teeth feel so smooth and I honestly feel so much more confident already.
