Somnowell - Snoring & Sleep Apnoea Help

I have suffered from sleep apnoea for quite some time, my wife’s complaints of my noisy snoring and concern about my episodes of apnoea intensified recently. As a dentist, having been aware of Somnowell, I decided to go ahead with Dr Matthew White in Cardiff. Provision of the appliance was smooth and trouble free. It was fitted the day before my wife and I departed on a sea cruise holiday. It was comfortable, and I had no problems adapting straight away to it’s use every night. My wife reports dramatic improvement in my snoring and continuity of sleep. We feel that it would be very difficult indeed for us to tolerate treatment with CPAP. It seems a great shame that a treatment as effective as Somnowell is not made available through NHS funding.

I was very impressed with the friendly and professional way that my questions were received and answered. The amount of information and knowledge shared, reflected how much trust and pride everybody in this company had for their people and product. The professional way how the company dealt with the Dentist during preparation for the device, right through to the end when the fitting was completed, were very impressive. As a Somnowell user of 12 years, I have to say it has revolutionised how I sleep. No more snoring and it opens my airways, which helps me feel revitalised in the morning. The device is very comfortable to wear at night. After a short time, you don't even notice it and you'll wonder, like me how you every slept without one. It really is a life changer of a product.

Proper sleep at last! I purchased the Somnowell device in 2018 for obstructive sleep apnea. I had the usual symptoms - waking up many times in the night, suffocating feeling, headaches in the morning and constantly fatigued. CPAP and other devices didn't work for me, so I tried the Somnowell. It's an odd looking thing, and initially feels a little strange in the mouth, but after a few minutes you don't notice it. For the first couple of nights, my teeth felt a bit sensitive in the morning, but that now has gone. So, does it work? Yes! From the very first night my sleep pattern changed. I now sleep all through the night and the sleep apnea symptoms have ceased. My partner says I occasionally have quiet, gentle snoring but nothing else. It is expensive, but can you put a price on a good night's sleep?

Having snored very loudly and sounding like a pneumatic drill for many years, I have given my husband many a sleepless night. I decided to invest in a somnowell device. I have had a bulky plastic device previously which was uncomfortable and just did not work. This custom made piece of metalwork is easy to tolerate and it works! With these devices you get what you pay for and this, I believe, is well worth the investment. I do occasionally snore just a little if I have had alcohol or am exceptionally tired- but absolutely nothing like the previous level of noise I made. I was also concerned that the device might damage my veneers but this is not the case.
