I had a consultation and mould made and the experience was very straightforward. I went back after 6 weeks and had my actual chrome guard fitted. It has transformed my sleep and I don’t wake up groggy anymore or snore as loudly as I did. It took a while to get used to but am very happy with it. I’ve been back to the practice to have it tightened and adjusted and they did it without charge and very quickly. Thoroughly recommend anyone with sleeping disorders to try it.

Got my Somnowell mouth guard fitted at Causeway Dental in Teddington. Highly recommend the dentist. She was great. The guard really does work if I’m sleeping on my side. My partner and I now sleep together in the same bed! I’ve had the guard for about 6 months- don’t wear it every night as we don’t live together. It does feel a bit weird to wear but I have got used to it. It’s not so useful when I’m on my back as I tend to breathe through my mouth and will snore then. This Somnowell information does address this issue. I would really recommend it - and have - if you snore a lot and have sleep apnea as I do. It really works.

The device and service received from somnowell has been excellent, so much so that my wife was very sad when i sent it off to be serviced. The only mouth device that is comfortable to wear and actually works.

Your jaw may ache for a couple of weeks until you get used to it. It works believe me. I have had mine for 10 years. You can have it adjusted also if need be.

I have found the Somnowell mandibular advancement device to be a really game changer. As a doctor with a busy job I didn’t really notice the insidious way that my sleep apnoea crept up on me. Putting my tiredness down to my busy work schedule until my wife who had been putting up with snoring became increasingly concerned that I was having long pauses when I was sleeping. The sleep study confirming my diagnosis however still came as a shock. I have had a somnowell device for 14 Years, That’s over 4000 nights I have worn it to sleep! Originally to stop my Snoring, but soon realised that the unrestricted breathing at night meant I slept so much better. Recently I managed to break it, so had to send it off to be repaired, I was not expecting what happened next! I have never been so tired as i have since not wearing the device.. my snoring has returned and i wake with a sore dry throat. I called Somnowell who repaired it as a priority. I cannot recommend this enough. It may seem expensive at first but when you truly understand what a proper device will do to you energy levels and how long it will last, it’s fantastic value! Don’t hesitate.
