This service is invaluable. I am able to ask questions and get real time responses whether it’s about my actual health or practical advice. My ‘team’ are so beyond wonderful and I’ve come to really value them, and speak to them most days. This is beyond a ‘service’ for me, I’m on my own quite a lot and dealing with scary stuff so it’s become quite a life line and I am so grateful to both of them. Whether it’s advice about my health or my hair or navigating work etc they have been there for me and it’s something I appreciate so so much.

I have dealt with Rebecca who has chemo experience and with Karla who doesn’t have chemo experience but has provided valuable insight into my private medical cover . Rebecca has given me invaluable honest advice from our initial chat to the more recent “ chats” online . She has advised on products to use / buy which I would not have known about otherwise eg pretty PICC line covers . She has a good knowledge of the side effects of chemo and is helping me navigate those eg cold cap still causes up to 70% hair loss. Her being available to “ chat” to has been invaluable and I commend her professionalism and caring approach. Karla has helped with me understand the extent of my Benenden private health care. She informed me that there was a grant available that was not means tested and suggested I apply to cover costs of my wig, car parking & travel expenses to and from hospital . I was very fit before my diagnosis I attended Zumba , yoga & Pilates classes which I can no longer attend due to lethargy and chance of infection . She suggested that I could perhaps have one to one private sessions , and the grant could help towards that. I wrote a detailed account of what I would use a grant for , and I was awarded the maximum grant . This has given me the opportunity to afford things that help me through this difficult journey .

I have had the best professional help from Sipiwe over a period of my life with incurable cancer that I would not have known to be possible. Sipiwe went above and beyond to getting the help that I needed with Drs & Consultants. I can only say she has a beautiful personality and to do what she achieved for me, given I’m living in N Ireland & her in England. Sipiwe came into my life when I was very low mentally & her Support & what she achieved for me was invaluable, I can’t thank her enough. I cried when I had to say goodbye to her as she was like a friend but with her professional nursing background was unbelievable. I will miss her a Dear lady indeed.Thankyou Sipiwe , Lorraine & Reframe for all your help.
