My experience at Arthur House was pretty positive. Having had not so many good experiences in my past Eating Disorder treatment, entering treatment again was very daunting but the staff all instantly made me feel welcome and made me feel supported. I found the structure and the staff in particular to be extremely supportive and helpful. It is extremely warm, clean and inviting environment that makes you feel at home and comfortable.

Anyone who is thinking about it but not sure, I would highly recommend a visit to Arthur House. Really helped me to understand what was going on and gave me the tools for the best chance of recovery. Comfortable setting and the staff make you feel very welcome. Highly recommended!

was possibly one of the most beneficial, helpful and worthwhile experiences of my life. AH has become like a second home to me and I couldn't praise it any higher. It honestly saved my life, and for that I'll be forever grateful. Thank you to everyone there, from the bottom of my heart! All the staff were helpful, supportive and kind, the therapy and exposure groups were all excellent and extremely helpful and the level of care is amazing.

It's been the perfect place to come to and transition into the outside world

I had a huge amount of support from the staff the whole time I was here. They were all very welcoming, encouraging and understanding. I always felt heard and understood and the staff never stopped believing in me. The community was very supportive too. I was very comfortable here and would recommend the service to anyone.

Author house has opened my recovery to take me far beyond survival. I now am willing and responsible for my recovery, whilst discovering the joys of eating and cooking amongst friends. I have discovered glimpses of light in what had been a very hard time. I leave today feeling more like myself than ever before
