Parkview House

Parkview House Care Home, part of Apex Housing Association, is based in the Castlederg area and is adjacent to the River Derg. The home is surrounded by stunning countryside views and as such as access to a number of courtyards where residents can enjoy the beautifully landscaped grounds as they wish, for socialising with other resident or simply to relax and enjoy.

Each resident at Parkview House is provided with their own private room which is well decorated, however residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with furniture and/or decorations to enhance the homely environment, creating a home-from-home feel for residents.

Residents are offered a weekly activity plan that features various activities, all tailored to cater to each resident's individual needs. The activities offered include arts & crafts, regular outings, games and music. The residents are also offered regular church visits and members of the local clergy often visit.

Before being admitted to Parkview House, the Nurse Manager will review the resident to ensure their needs are met. Care plans are developed in collaboration with all relevant people, including care managers, family, general practitioners and/or social services. This allows for the needs of every resident to be met according to the needs that they have.
