Parazute is a mental health app that utilises AI to identify adverse changes in their uses with mental health conditions and notifying their relevant caregivers, friends and/or relatives. As fellow relatives, the creators of Parazute acknowledge the profound stress and anxiety experienced when caring for loved ones with mental health challenges. In response, the team provides a revolutionary platform that empowers relatives, patients, and caregivers alike.

For relatives, Parazute offers a lifeline, ensuring calm amidst the uncertainties. Through the app, notifications are sent when a mentally ill friend or family member needs support, offering reassurance and guidance during critical moments. This proactive approach aims to prevent hospitalisation, self-harm, or other potentially fatal outcomes.

Recognising the challenges faced by individuals with mental health conditions, Parazute becomes a source of peace of mind. The app deploys support from the user's network when their mental status takes a negative turn, bridging the gap in seeking help during challenging moments.

Caregivers play a pivotal role, and Parazute empowers them with real-time insights. The app prioritises and notifies caregivers about patients who need immediate attention, ensuring resources and services are deployed efficiently based on actual needs.

Parazute operates on simplicity and efficiency, requiring less than a minute of daily input to report mental health status to the network. In case of adverse developments, the app notifies the pre-selected "Parazuters" – a network of trusted family, friends, and caregivers who can provide the needed support.

Developed in close collaboration with the Danish National Association for Mental Health, Parazute is a product of personal experience within the mental health field. Every employee, whether a patient, relative, or healthcare professional, contributes to the app's development, making it a unique and empathetic solution.

Committed to a greater cause, Parazute donates 30% of its basic monthly fees directly toward scientific research, actively contributing to the advancement of digital psychiatry and the emotional well-being of relatives.
