Moorpark Place

Moorpark Place is an assisted living facility for adults (18+) with autism or Asperger's syndrome and is located in the peaceful and beautiful surroundings of North Ayrshire. The facility specialises in supportive, therapeutic treatment and is dedicated to supporting its residents in living the best quality of life they can.

Moorpark Place is unique in that the community is made up of 25 individual homes, each with its own garden, along with some common shared amenities including a gym, a sensory room, a music room, a dance hall, an IT room, a family room, and a conservatory. Service users also have access to a large walled garden with individual garden plots, trampolines, and sensory gardens. Residents are therefore able to enjoy independent living whilst also being part of the community. Each service user has their own personalised care plan, and are able to grow and develop with the help of their individual support worker who oversees their daily care.

Staff at Moorpark Place are highly skilled and have extensive expertise working with people who have learning disabilities or are on the autistic spectrum. On-site therapies are also available to residents including speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and clinical psychology.
