Monaghan + Morrow provides minimally invasive, no-scalpel vasectomy and operates a clinic at Array Clinic, 665 Lisburn Road, Belfast. All procedures are performed by Dr Stephen Monaghan, an experienced vasectomy surgeon and vasectomy trainer with over 1,500 procedures completed. The Belfast clinic uses a scalpel-free electrocautery method designed to divide and seal the vas deferens without cutting or stitching, and consultations and procedures are carried out under local anaesthetic.
The clinic focuses on permanent male sterilisation using the modern no-scalpel technique, regarded as the current gold-standard approach. The procedure is performed through a minimally invasive opening and does not require a general anaesthetic or hospital admission. Sexual function, ejaculation and testosterone levels are unaffected, as the procedure only prevents sperm from entering the semen. Information on recovery, risks and post-procedure expectations is provided in advance, and follow-up support is available.
In addition to the Belfast site, Monaghan + Morrow also operates a second vasectomy clinic located within Salus Medical Clinic on Main Street in Swords. Both locations offer consultation-only appointments as well as streamlined one-visit vasectomy appointments, with no referral required.

I had called to make enquiries and was given detailed information and was able to make an appointment quickly
Excellent experience from start to finish, my enquiry was responded to via phone call straight away and booking opportunities were all within a few weeks at most. Both Stephen and Gillian made the whole procedure feel very relaxed but were also so professional in their care and with information provided. I genuinely experienced no discomfort during the procedure and very little afterwards. Aftercare checking in was first class also. Highly recommend to give them a call if you are considering this.

I had my vescetomy over 3 months ago and just got the news today that it was sucessful. My whole experience from start to finish was excellent. I was quiet nervous but Gillian & Stephen put me at ease. Apart from the injections the complete procedure was painless. After procedure i had no pain at all and was back to work day or 2 later. Great service.

Gillian and Stephen are welcoming, informative and professional. I actually ran late for my appointment due to traffic and weather conditions and they still managed to fit me on the same day, which I was very thankful for. They will talk you through any concerns post-vasectomy too. I am glad I went through them for my surgery.
