Meadowlark Care Home

Meadowlark Care Home is situated in Forres, on the Moray Coast and provides person-centred care and support to elderly residents.

The team at Meadowlark is supported to deliver exceptional care to residents with varying care needs, ranging from personal care to more specialised diagnoses such as dementia, stroke and Parkinson's.

Meadowlark provides care and support for up to 57 residents within single occupancy rooms, all with en suites. Each resident is encouraged to personalise their space as much as they desire, creating a room that they feel at home in,

The home provides multiple spaces for residents to enjoy, including use of social areas as well as quiet lounges and outside grounds for residents to relax, socialise and chat with friends and loved ones.

Life within Meadowlark is based on choice, the team are able to support resident's in how they enjoy spending their time and facilitate the life they want within the safe and welcoming environment.

The registered nurse team provide 24 hour support to all residents, with a person-centred approach to ensure that every resident's care plan is created according to their individual needs, with personal wellbeing as physical and emotional wellbeing being their top priorities.

The home also benefits from regular visits from the local GP as well as additional support therapies for residents to use as they require.

The on-site catering team aim to provide exceptional dining experiences during every mealtime. With regular consultation on seasonal menus, as well as meals to cater for allergens and dietary requirements. Optimal nutrition is also of the highest importance to ensure residents stay as healthy as possible.

Meadowlark's residents are able to enjoy a programme of activities as they wish, with 1:1 activities as well as group options; there is plenty to enjoy. However, for those prefer more of the relaxation approach, that's also well catered for with access to quiet rooms, libraries and holistic therapies.
