Jesmond offers 65 en-suite bedrooms, each equipped with a nurse call system, fully electric comfort bed and LCD TV with Freeview service.

The home is designed as a a safe and supportive environment for all residents and promotes wellbeing for those living with Alzheimer's and dementia, understanding the needs for individualised care and support.

With a focus on wellbeing at the heart of its ethos, the home as numerous social areas to meet with friends and family, with a refreshments service provided. Jesmond also has a beautiful enclosed garden, in which residents often take ownership of the gardening and create many wonderful areas for others to enjoy. The garden house also provides the perfect sanctuary for relaxing summer days, adding to the tranquil and calming environment.

Nursing care is provided 24/7 with in-house registered nurses and highly qualified staff who are experienced in personalised care for the elderly; understanding that involvement from family is important in their loved one's care and care plans are created collaboratively with family where possible to ensure the best lifestyle for their patients.

In addition to the wellbeing services, Jesmond has a full range of health care services are available such as dental and vision care and GPs from Old Machar practice visit the home regularly; ensuring optimal health for all patients.

The food at Jesmond is of a high standard, ensuring that traditional meals and personal favourites are catered for. Meals are prepared by the in-house catering team who aim to provide a dining experience during each service. Ingredients are sourced locally where possible and recipes are created with allergens and dietary preferences always catered for at every meal.

Jesmond has an extensive wellbeing programme for all residents. From 1:1 personal care, to games and events in the homes, to excursions and trips out, there is something for every resident to enjoy.

Additional services are available to residents, upon request, including hairdressing, podiatry and newspapers delivery.
