Ivetsey Bank Hospital is a Tier 4 Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) hospital for children and adolescents aged 12 to 18 with severe or complex mental health conditions including anorexia nervosa, borderline personality disorder, OCD, PTSD, and psychosis. The facility is well-equipped to support those who require intensive inpatient care, and the team are committed to delivering effective recovery-focused treatment by working closely with the service user, their families, and other healthcare professionals.

The facility offers 36 rooms split across three units that comprise an eating disorders service, a psychiatric intensive care service, and a general adolescent service. Each unit has its own highly experienced Multi-Disciplinary Team (consultant-led). The facility's model of care is developed by doctors, nurses, psychologists, therapists, social workers, along with other experts within the field. It is adaptable and is continually built upon by the feedback from service users and their families about what is important to them. The team understand that each individual has their own unique needs and difficulties, so a patient-centric, personalised approach is always taken.

Service users have access to occupational therapy kitchens in which to develop their cooking skills, a high-intensity suite, a gym, a keep fit cabin, a therapy cabin, a multi-faith cabin, as well as an outdoor sports area complete with a basketball court. The site also has its own Ofsted-registered school so that young people may continue their education while receiving treatment if they are well enough to do so.
