Areas of expertise
IBS Clinics was first set up by Tracey Randell in 2011, which specializes in helping patients to manage their Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and other gastrointestinal conditions. The clinics are run by a highly qualified team of Nutritional Therapists and IBS Therapists who use Functional Medicine to address gut-related problems. There are clinics in Wimpole Street and Weymouth Street (London) and Maidenhead (Berkshire).
The clinical specialists investigate the patient's health concerns and aim to identify the underlying cause of the disease. From this, they can put together a comprehensive treatment plan, specifically designed for each patient to restore and maintain their digestive health.
The clinicians have treated hundreds of patients suffering from IBS. They identify the symptoms and causes and use this information to determine the best optimum treatments that can effectively ease the patient's symptoms. Whether patients have IBS or other gut disorders, the clinicians are dedicated to helping patients to manage their digestive conditions.
Whilst having IBS as a specialism this does not mean that other health condirions cannot be addressed by the team at IBS clinics in fact we see many atients each year that seek our help with health conditions such as histamine intolerance, candida, parasites, food allergies and intolerances, acne, inflammatory bowel disease, thyroid disorders (Hashimotos), adrenal fatigue, optimising immune function and hormonal issues (male and female). In fact most health concerns can be improved when gut health is optimised.

My experience with Tracey has been online only. I have suffered from IBS for a long time and consulted IBS Clinics because my symptoms have been worse lately. Tracey was very thorough in discussing my symptoms and arranging comprehensive tests leading to a 6 week restricted diet programme with a range of supplements to hopefully attack my IMO and find out if I have any food intolerances that contribute to this. I have already seen some benefits (with 2 weeks to go as yet) including a satisfying loss of weight. Tracey is kind and compassionate, yet firm in her approach. Her treatment seems to me to be very scientifically grounded, which is important to me as I am a scientist myself. Whenever I have had a minor relapse due to not keeping to her recommended diet she has been able to explain why this has happened in a convincing way. Gut health is a complex subject and Tracey has got a very good understanding of it.
I saw Rosie Matharu at IBS Clinics and cannot recommend her more highly.
I used the online clinic which was very helpful for me, as my symptoms often kept me from going to face to face appointments.
My experience was all online, so difficult to comment on this question. Very happy with the overall experience though!
As I live far away, being able to have all my consultations online was brilliant!
The online consultation process was smooth, well-structured, and easy to use.
I had online therapy sessions through this clinic, and the experience was excellent. The Zoom sessions were easy to access, and my therapist was compassionate, understanding, and helpful. Even without in-person visits, I felt genuinely supported.
Rosie has always been available beyond our scheduled appointments. Whenever I've had doubts or haven't understood an unexpected reaction to my symptoms, I've contacted her by email and she's explained things to me. She also provides emotional support.
I started off my experience struggling with many painful symptoms of sibo and Rosie helped me throughout the process with the right diet and supplements. Additionally, I suffered from harsh and depression from peri menopause and she greatly aided me in subsiding my symptoms with supplements. She was a great help and boosted my confidence in the process.
