Heron View Care Home

Heron View Care Home specialises in the management of mental health and Neurocognitive/Acquired brain injury presentations, including agitation, aggression, sexual disinhibition, vocalisation and behaviours that pose a risk to others and patients themselves. Heron View is located in Croydon and supports up to 35 men whose ability to function independently and process information, is impaired. Heron View also aims to use evidence based non-pharmacological intervention and avoid medication, where possible.

Heron View Care home takes care of Service Users according to:

• Ministry of Justice (MoJ) restrictions
• Community Treatment Order (CTO)
• Deprivation of Liberties Safeguarding (DoLS)
• On Licence as directed by the Parole Board.

Heron view takes patients from care homes, neuro-rehabilition services and secure units that no longer meet patients needs, offering them a safe and comfortable environment provided by dedicated specialist team. This team includes registered general and mental health nurses, registered manager, operations manager and highly trained care staff for 24 hour Service User support. Heron is dedicated to delivering holistic and patient-centred care to maximise recovery from the physical and cognitive impairments individuals may present.
