Hearing Therapy Ltd - Dronfield

Hearing Therapy is an independent audiology provider offering private hearing care services at Gosforth Valley Medical Centre in Dronfield Woodhouse, Derbyshire. The clinic provides diagnostic hearing assessments, hearing aid services and earwax removal, with care tailored to patients' individual hearing needs.

Hearing assessments at the Dronfield clinic include a detailed clinical history, otoscopy, pure-tone audiometry and tympanometry to evaluate hearing and middle ear function. Pure-tone audiometry testing up to 16 kHz is also available where tinnitus or less apparent hearing loss is suspected. Patients receive an explanation of their assessment results and recommendations based on their hearing needs, with referrals to their GP where appropriate.

The clinic offers hearing aids from manufacturers including Starkey, Oticon and Phonak. Its audiologists provide hearing aid assessments, fitting and programming, alongside ongoing aftercare. Patients can also access a free two-week hearing aid trial, with a 60-day return period available.

Earwax removal is another service provided at the Dronfield location. Treatment options include endoscopic microsuction, ear irrigation and manual wax removal, allowing the audiologists to select an appropriate method for individual patients.

Hearing Therapy's Dronfield clinic combines diagnostic hearing assessments with hearing aid support and earwax management. Its approach focuses on explaining findings clearly and providing personalised recommendations to help patients make informed decisions about their hearing care.
