Freedom Vision - Truro

I initially went for a review to SpaMedica in Truro for a possible YAG Capsulotomy. Unfortunately I was told that the appointment was cancelled and that another appointment could be made in approximately 8 weeks’ time. It was a disappointment that no message regarding the cancellation had been received. However, the discussion was overheard by Resh Joshi (Hospital Manager, Truro). He quickly expressed concern that the stated delay was not acceptable and that it would be resolved and a better outcome would be achieved. He listened attentively to my previous history and sought the input from the Patient Liaison Manager (Nicky Halpin). It became apparent that they both worked closely together to resolve these issues. Nicky was fantastic in organising a new schedule with the aid of Emma (Optometrist). It was apparent they were a fabulous team who worked closely together. In a short time the YAG Capsulotomy was done by Emma and my sight was restored. Finally, I feel that having to say thank you doesn’t feel like enough, but I want to express just how much I appreciate everything that the three of you and SpaMedica have done. Your dedication, kindness and the extra effort you put in have made a massive difference for me and I’m incredibly grateful to have had such wonderful support with a fabulous outcome in so short a time.

Everyone at Freedom Vision were friendly and patient, ensuring I was kept fully informed about what was happening. I appreciated the professionalism and care shown to me before, during and after the procedure I had on both eyes. I have just had 2 cataract procedures where Galaxy multi-focal lenses were fitted. The process was very slick and painless and the results are fantastic. Life changing, considering I have worn contact leses for nearly 50 years!

Efficient, professional and reassuring

I have recently received cataract surgery in both my eyes and the results are excellent. Previously I needed to wear varifocals permanently and now I don’t need to wear glasses at all. I am very pleased. The whole experience from start to finish has been excellent. All the staff have been thorough, efficient and friendly, I cannot recommend them highly enough, especially Nicky and Emma. I would like to thank the surgeon, Mr Richard Haynes and everyone involved

I recently had both of my eye cataract surgeries at SpaMedica in Truro, and I cannot praise the service highly enough. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The team went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and dignity were prioritised at all times. Initially I was very nervous about having my eyes operated on. The friendly and caring way I was treated right from the start was exactly what I needed, I could see that this was also the case for the other patients present whilst I was there too.
