Excellent care and advice from the hospital. I am really pleased with the outcome of my cataract surgery and the vision I now have. I hadn’t fully appreciated how poor my vision had become and after being short sighted all my life, near sighted requiring varifocal lenses in recent years I now do not need glasses at all as well as all my cataract symptoms disappearing.

I had bilateral lens replacements last Thursday (27/11/2025) and the team could not have been more careful if they tried. The surgeon, Mr Puri, was excellent. My eyes are recovering really well with no problems., this was confirmed by my first post-op check-up today - a bit earlier than usual because of planned plane flights. Assess,et and post-op Sheffield, surgery in Newark. Staff in both locations are wonderful.

From the first appointment to the last I was treated with professional friendliness. All concerned with my treatment offered full explanations of the processes involved, including during my treatment.
