I was 5 mins late as I was stuck in traffic - I called ahead to let reception know but I then waited 30 mins before being seen. On arrival, I was told to help myself to a drink and take a seat which I was unable to do as I was on crutches - not conducive to carrying a cup! Might be useful to offer to get patients a drink if they are on crutches and therefore unable to do so themselves.
Thank you for your review. I'm sorry that you had to wait a while for your appointment. Our procedure when a patient is running late would be to monitor the situation and then to decide whether we should see the next patient who has arrived already for their appointment. In this case we took the next patient in so they weren't consequently late for their appointment. Regarding unable to make a coffee. The reception staff are kept rather busy. Please always just ask. They will be happy to assist.
