What a thoroughly refreshing experience it was coming to see Ali Johnstone at the Open Practice for our review. As a clinical biochemist myself I found Ali's obviously excellent clinical knowledge and broad understanding of my health status and her very astute recommendations around this to be really top quality - she gave me great confidence in her advice and I really appreciate that - she is a fabulous exemplar for top notch GP Services - the first GP in the last 25 years for me who has absolutely nailed it. As soon as I arrived, I was asked to come in by my doctor, no waiting around. My doctor was incredible, and I felt completely heard by her, she listened to me and did all she could to help me. I have been an NHS patient but needed a second opinion, which I got! The nurses who took my blood were so calming and friendly, I have trouble giving blood, but they persevered in such a caring way. My whole experience of my first private appointment was wonderful.
