Loved my appointments with Sophie! I have been able to introduce a huge variety of vegetables in my diet, and don't need to touch the low FODMAP diet the stoma nurses told me to follow :-)

I even gave 5 stars for cleanliness, although my appointments were on Zoom, for I feel the Service and in particular the dietitian with whom I had appointments, deserve 5 stars for everything. I have a very complex dietry problem and Seeing Sophie Medlin made my life so much more bearable, at a time when I was at my wits end. She started with the best diagnosis of my problems I have ever had and it made perfect sense. She then went on to try everything she could. I have felt safe and supported knowing Sophie was there and I trust her every move. Her constant interest and assurance that she would not just leave me to manage alone was invaluable. At the moment she has transferred me to a colleague, who she feels might do me some good but has assured me she is still there. She is an incredibly knowledgeable, kind and empathetic person who really listens and I will always be grateful that I found her.

Very friendly and helpful phone operator, was able to help me with my insurance enquire as it appeared I forgot to mention this before the appointment. Dr Wilson was very helpful as well, she went far and beyond explaining every little thing about the gut work and how exactly we are going to target the bacteria inside it. I left the appointment relieved and hopeful.

I had PCOS and I’ve been through a miscarriage so I decided to seek help from Sophie innorder to improve my lifestyle and start trying for a baby again. Sophie helped me to improve my diet and adjust the healthy eating in my busy and stressful routine. Now I am pregnant again and she gave me helpful advise for healthy eating in pregnancy

Very professional and attentive. Gave some good dietary advice as expected but delivered very well and came across as genuinely caring and wanting to help. Ultimately there is so much info out there about diet and nutrition and much can be gleaned from simply reading books and articles etc (if you know how to find the reliable sources). However it is useful and beneficial to have a dedicated dietician to at least steer you onto the right path when trying to make drastic changes to diet and lifestyle, which at some point many of us need to do to remain healthy and alive.
