The facility comprises seven en-suite rooms with a large shared garden and is well-equipped to support those who require either short-term or long-term care. Blackburn Road can also offer respite care for those living in the community who may benefit from a change of scenery.

The highly experienced team are committed to ensuring that service users feel safe and supported and the overall goal is to help residents reach the point where they no longer require the service. Residents are encouraged to try new hobbies and activities as well as improve self-care skills and the internationally recognised ‘Recovery Star' method is used to build confidence by recognising the goals individuals are able to achieve. On-site therapies are also available for service users to use including occupational therapy, psychology, and nursing care.
