Bethany House

Bethany House in Kent is a purpose-built residential home that specialises in the support and care of young adults with physical disabilities and mental health conditions. The home can accommodate up to 15 people, and all rooms are single occupancy en-suites with their own toilet and shower. Rooms are equipped to the highest of standards, with additional aids and equipment available for more dependent residents.

Residents have access to a variety of amenities, including a hydrotherapy pool, a huge arts and crafts studio, a multi-sensory room, and a large garden. Service users are also encouraged to become involved in the community, and a mini-bus is available for convenient transportation.

In addition, a full-time Activities Organiser provides trips to nearby pubs, cinemas, theatres and riding stables, as well as weekly in-house entertainment. Visiting therapists also conduct sessions such as physiotherapy, art, aromatherapy, reflexology, and sport and beauty treatments. The visiting physiotherapist is assisted by a full-time physio-aide.

Training and development for employees is a top priority at Bethany House and the home is IIP (Investors In People)-recognised, demonstrating its dedication to providing a learning environment for employees.
