About Barn Halt Cottages
Barn Halt Cottages is a supported housing development for service users living with dementia. Based on Taylors Avenue, Carrickfergus, Barn Halt Cottages consists of a mix of 26 one-bedroom and two-bedroom cottages, with access to spacious outdoor surroundings and assistive living technology to allow service users privacy and peace of mind.
Barn Halt Cottages are serviced by highly trained support staff and the Trust Team, who are available from 8 am to 10 pm, providing service users with the option to live more independently and have assistance when they need it.

A brilliant place to live in and work in.
My experience of barn halt has always been positive nothing is ever to much trouble
I am writing on behalf of the team at Hope House to say thank you for the wonderful donation of £171.00 that we received from Barn Halt Cottages Christmas ballot fundraiser. Please pass on our appreciation to everyone who donated, we are so grateful for all this amazing support. We enjoyed the carol singers from BBC staff. We appreciated the effort put in and as a thank you we provided them with mince pies and a drink of juice. It was also a thank you gift for all the hard work the staff have put into helping us settle into BBC. The staff are amazing at BBC, my wife and I are very happy here.

Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Clean and tidy in reception area and toilets.
Lovely clean facility, friendly staff, would be happy for any of my family to live here
