Few issues but good overall.

My Dad is a current resident in Bangor Care home. He has dementia and finds verbal communication difficult these days. Myself and other family members visit regularly and have always found Dad to be clean, tidy, appropriately dressed and happy to see us. He appears to have a good relationship with the nurses and care staff. No matter which member of staff we speak to, they all seem to be up to date with his current needs. Staff are always courteous , well informed, pleasant to deal with and happy to help with any suggestions. As a family, we are happy with the levels of care provided to Dad and the communication between the care home and our family. The home environment is always clean and tidy. Decor and the garden could benefit from updating and that is the only reason for 4 stars rather than 5. No one wants to watch their relatives decline to a point of needing 24 hour specialist nursing care and we are very grateful to the current staff for their kindness, compassionate and knowledgable care in sometimes challenging circumstances
