The whole experience with Akealife was excellent from start to finish. Getting an appointment with my GP is becoming more and more difficult, unlikely to see anyone within a week at best. I initially explained my symptoms to the Akea doctor over the telephone, within a couple of hours , I had a doctor at my front door. The patient manner of the doctor was excellent and he provided me with both confidence and reassurance. The doctor provided me with a comprehensive explanation about my illness. I was prescribed some medication and was back on my feet within a couple of days. The Akealife service is worth its weight in gold. Health is priceless and as the NHS is struggling to cope with the demands , I feel reassured knowing i can have an Akealife doctor at my door .

Very good service. Doctor always arrives quick and on time. I rely on this service quite a lot as with twins it’s difficult to get out of the house and to the doctor. Best service every time

Hassle free home visit organised in one call, with an appointment time to suit us. Dr was brilliant with my 6 year old who doesn’t like doctors or hospitals/clinics. Dr phoned to check in again after the appointment to make sure everything was okay.

I can't recommend the private GP service highly enough. I have young children and have used the service to both get them seen when I've had concerns and also to simply talk to the doctor and put my mind at ease. We have established a good relationship with the team of doctors and the reassurance we have from knowing we can get appointments at home, at a time that works for us is worth every single penny. We have even been on holiday and made a call to the team to chat over some concerns. My husband has used the service and this is now our first port of call for any health and medical worries. Being an Akea member is probably the best thing we have done to ensure we get looked after by a consistent team of extremely experienced GP's and other specialists.
