Abington View

Abington View, Northampton, offers a supported living service in a peaceful residential environment for female clients who are capable of living more independently. The service supports conditions including brain injury and functional neurological disorders. Most people at Abington View have completed rehabilitation at Christchurch View or Lloyd House in Northampton and are now able to live increasingly independently, with the help of personnel available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

There are 3 bedrooms (one ensuite) available at the facility, with a shared bathroom, shared kitchen/diner, communal areas including a sunroom as well as a large garden complete with a sun house. Residents have access to an interdisciplinary team that includes a rehabilitation consultant, a neuropsychologist, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists.

Residents at Abington View are able to benefit from social, occupational, and educational opportunities due to its convenient location close to local shops and supermarkets, the park, and other amenities. This makes it an ideal place for community-based transitional rehabilitation.
