My experience with Dr Jhajj has been transformative. I approached Dr Jhajj as I was struggling to lose weight, feeling stress and suffering from fatigue and lack of energy. I was encouraged by the non-judgemental approach and genuine interest in my all-round wellbeing. My first consultation with Dr Jhajj was very thorough and touched on aspects of my health and lifestyle that I had overlooked and which I hadn’t realised could be impacting weight loss, such as a lack of adequate sleep. This is a real benefit to having a longer consultation with such a caring Dr. She considered my food preferences and goals and proposed a comprehensive plan of what to eat, when to eat and the order in which to eat. To my surprise, this including many of my favourite treats. Though there was a lot of information, it was explained simply, and this helped me to understand better. Dr Jhajj checked in and offered support and accountability and within just a month, I had exceeded my wildest expectations of weight loss, but more importantly, I felt more energetic, emotionally stronger and genuinely like a new woman. I’m forever grateful to Dr Jhajj for helping me see what I specifically need to feed myself and preparing a step by step, easy to follow plan to help me achieve this, while enjoying my meals. Now, I’ve dropped a dress size in a matter of weeks, and when people ask how I did this, I just share her website! Thank you Dr Jhajj, it’s no exaggeration to say that you’ve changed my life.

I had a colonoscopy with Professor Lovat. I was quite nervous as I had never had one before and I was worried it would hurt. Professor Lovat was wonderful, he put me at ease, explained everything before the procedure, told me how I could ask for more sedation during the procedure if necessary, and explained the results afterwards. The procedure was not painful at all and he is clearly extremely skilled at what he does. 100% recommend.

I’ve done dieting in the past, put myself through what I believed was calorie deficit and lost weight almost immediately, it was great but over the years it piled back on. Although the weight on the scale made me happy, I still wasn’t happy with how I looked, my strength or stamina. He explained the surgery that I required (whipple) in great detail and answered the questions that myself and my Wife had with great care and compassion and really made me feel a lot happier and comfortable as to what I should expect over the coming months. In hospital, the Prof once again demonstrated to me his passion for, just being one of the best at what he does. Everytime he came to see how I was progressing, still in hospital, post op, he listen intently to how I was feeling, not just physically but mentally as well and showed me so much compassion, love and care, even on Christmas morning the Prof came in to see how I was doing, he didn't need to, when many had finished work for the holiday. Last autumn, I had my third procedure (over five years) with Miss Pissanou, and in my view, I could be in no better hands. Miss Pissanou is an expert in her field and her bedside manner is exceptional--warm and personable. She also engages you by taking the time to explain her thinking and recommendations. In general, her standards are very high, and she has my complete confidence. She will always be the person to whom I go to first for relevant medical needs, and I will continue to refer others to her.
