My experience was excellent with Mr Platt. Throughout the entire surgery process i was given all the relevant information and all my questions answered which put me at ease & reassured me that i was in good hands. The day of the surgery Mr Platt went through the surgery process again & i felt very relaxed about the forthcoming procedure. Honestly if i had to have more surgery, in his dedicated field, i would not hesitate to go back.

A very knowledgeable and approachable surgeon, however it was quite disappointing that my concerns regarding the ongoing knee instability following the ACL reconstruction surgery he performed hadn’t been taken into account in a timely manner. I had to seek an opinion from another consultant, who arranged the MRI and other appropriate tests, and confirmed that the surgery wasn’t completely successful.

I recently saw Mr Khan for patella tendinopathy. From start to finish he was professional and reassuring. He explained the condition and the options available to me, listened to my concerns and ultimately put my mind at ease. I loved the diagrams he drew and how he pointed out the problem on the MRI scan. I came away feeling that really knew what was happening inside my body and what I needed to do to get back on track. Nothing was too much trouble. I have had my injection, am well into my physiotherapy treatment and the knee feels great. Thank you Mr Khan.

During my first consultation with Mr Krishnan he gave me a very clear explanation of the condition of my knee and the likely outcome of a full knee replacement. On the day of the operation I felt very relaxed and confident in the procedures that were going to take place. After the completion of the operation Mr Krishnan confirmed that it had gone well. Before my discharge Mr Krishnan came and spoke to my wife and myself, so that I went home happy that I could continue my recovery, including the knowledge that I would be attending physiotherapy sessions. On the follow up appointment Mr Krishnan showed an xray of the new replacement knee and explained it. He checked the movement in my knee and confirmed that I must continue to do the exercises. I feel totally confident, thanks to Mr Krishnan's skill and advice.

I am 15 days post op today after my total knee replacement. I have been seeing Mr Vedi for a couple of years and he tried everything before the replacement. He is very informative, knowledgeable, professional and a good bed side manner. I always had 100% faith in Mr vedi and never worried about anything as his kind manner made me relax. I now have a lovely neat scar and my future is so much brighter with my new knee. Physio has started and am walking with one crutch outdoors and nothing indoors. Bravo Mr Vedi

Very calming presence and clear explanations

From the initial consultation through to the follow up appointments I couldn’t have asked for a more professional consultant. Talking through in great detail the injury, procedure and recovery (ACL & Meniscus repair), that was also easy to comprehend, was invaluable. Mr Al-Dadah has many years of experience and top of his game - you very much felt in safe hands. I thankfully came through the operation with a weight bearing knee and after 6 weeks I’m walking around crutches free, with a little way to go in terms of muscle rehabilitation. A very good experience and would highly recommend.

I was referred to Mr Ghosh by another Consultant who I was informed undertook half knee replacements that I had been advised I should consider having. Mr Ghosh confirmed this would be the best option, showed me my MRI and the damage to my knee and that he was happy to perform the operation. This was scheduled for just 3 weeks later. I received a detailed explanation of what the operation entailed and the possible issues that may arise. I met with Mr Ghosh both pre op and after it had been performed and then again 6 weeks later. He gave me very good advice concerning post operative physiotherapy and that my recovery was very much in my own hands. I'm very please to say I have made a rapid recovery. I considered I was in expert hands throughout and very pleased with the outcome.
