For clarity, I wanted to see Mr Malik due to his cited specialities of assisting younger sportspeople back to participation. We discussed options, potential routes, risks and benefits to each before settling upon a choice. Mr Malik was thorough and open in the conversations and I felt listened to throughout. The surgery was a success, and having gone from a place of very little hope in making a good recovery to the knee problems, I have ended up with the potential of returning to a life of activity. This wasn't seen as an option previously, and I can only thank Mr Malik for his time, input and patience in working with me.
