Very calming presence and clear explanations

Having seen other orthopaedic surgeons and undergone surgey previously on the same issue, seeing Mr Malik felt like the first actual 'Consultant' appointment. For clarity, I wanted to see Mr Malik due to his cited specialities of assisting younger sportspeople back to participation. We discussed options, potential routes, risks and benefits to each before settling upon a choice. Mr Malik was thorough and open in the conversations and I felt listened to throughout. The surgery was a success, and having gone from a place of very little hope in making a good recovery to the knee problems, I have ended up with the potential of returning to a life of activity. This wasn't seen as an option previously, and I can only thank Mr Malik for his time, input and patience in working with me.

Mr. Ahad's manner is friendly and approachable. He has always explained very carefully the procedures I've had and reassured me regarding any concerns I might have had prior to the operation. A thoroughly likeable person.
