As an amateur keyboard player, I sought out Mr Phillips as I was keen to have the opinion and perspective not only of a hand surgeon but also of a fellow musician, and I was not disappointed. Our conversation was unhurried, his explanations were very clear and he was very reassuring about the treatment I had already received (from another surgeon) and about further treatment being proposed. He was also very helpful in pointing me towards hand therapists who might be able to help me in my recovery after further surgery, including therapists who specialise in working with musicians. He said he would be happy to see me again if necessary and for my part I would certainly have no hesitation in consulting him in the future. I couldn't recommend Mr Phillips highly. enough.

Dr. Brooke was fantastic throughout my treatment. He not only provided an accurate diagnosis but also carefully explained the treatment plan and the reasoning behind it.
