I could not recommend Mr Mokawem enough after the treatment and care he has given me for my scoliosis. Every appointment we had, we are always approached with a reassuring and calm manner, and feeling fully informed on our possible options. We were meant to go ahead with surgery, yet after the Multi-Disciplinary Meeting took place, we were told that in my current position, they should not operate until further investigation had taken place. This just shows how incredible this team is, willing to postpone the surgery as something was not quite adding up. However, after thorough investigation, the surgery went ahead. He always left me choice throughout this process, listing all of the benefits and drawbacks of each stage. I was operated on at the RNOH, and almost every day, Mr Mokawem would come and see me. On around day 3, he came in and asked me if I wanted to stand and go for a short walk. I didn’t as this was one of the days I felt the most sore, but after some time chatting with him, he reassured me and supported me to push myself. I could not be more grateful for Mr Mokawem and his team’s care, and would highly recommend him to anyone! He has been hugely reassuring both to me and my parents.

I felt comfortable with Mr Lee from our first consultation, he was very clear in his explanation of what was required for my operation/s which went really well and recovery has been excellent, I find Mr Lee to be an excellent surgeon with a can do and caring attitude, I would 100% recommend him to anyone requiring surgery.. Mr Sayal is an excellent communicator and takes the time and trouble not only to explain the medical condition clearly but to set out options and likely outcomes to enable the patient to make an informed decision. He is both professional and caring.

Mr Kazzaz is an excellent and professional surgeon, he has a lovely friendly manner and explained everything in detail that was easy for me and my family to understand, he is always available for any questions or concerns via his secretary, which are promptly answered. My operation went perfectly, and I am now pain free, Mr Kazzaz has given me back my life, I felt cared for confident and well looked after during the whole of my procedure, I can only say Thank you Mr Kazzaz for working your magic on my spine

I was very disappointed. While I appreciate that I hae no basis on which to make a judgement of Mr Seel's clinical skill, I found his interaction with me cursory. He seemed disinterested in my experience and I await with interest what happens when we meet and he has the findings of the clinical tests to discuss with me.

Professional but not very helpful

As always it was a delight to meet Professor Nurdeen. Even though we were meeting him after some years, the rapport and welcome was immediate and the years dissolved away. The Professor was so quick and clear in directing us as to how we were going to start our journey. We felt very looked after and very pleased.
